Paco Calvo grew up in Triana, Seville surrounded by mosaics - in his street, at his school, in the Parque de Maria Luisa.

Paco has spent many years in England but his early influences continue to shine through and are reflected in his stunning mosaic work. Gaudi, Hannibal Gonzalez (of Seville) and painters such as Picasso, Klee, Matisse, Juan Miro, Van Gogh and Kandinski are all inspirations in his work.

Paco & Luisa Calvo are a husband and wife team - Paco is the mosaic artist and Cambridge born Luisa contributes to the drawing and design stages of the mosaic work. Luisa has a Cambridge art school background and is also a professional freelance caricaturist.
